Little Rock Hotels
Little Rock, the state capital of Arkansas, has history and plenty of natural beauty for visitors to enjoy. Spend an afternoon walking or cycling over the Big Dam Bridge, the world's longest pedestrian and bicycle bridge. True lovers of the great outdoors can take advantage of the Little Rock area's many campgrounds and lakes.
History buffs can check out the longest-standing capital building west of the Mississippi. Little Rock also has plenty of museums, including a more recent edition, the William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park.
When it comes to food, Little Rock is known for its barbecue, catfish, and general southern-comfort cuisine. And at night, the River Market District is the place to be. Set in the heart of downtown Little Rock, the area is home to both the Riverfront Amphitheater and the Robinson Memorial Auditorium where most concerts take place. Also among Little Rock's popular attractions: the Alltel Arena; Ernie Biggs, a dueling piano bar where patrons are encouraged to sing along; and three vintage trolleys that take visitors up and down the city's streets.
